Joakim Noah, French basketball player of the NBA.
Joakim has been suspended with 20 games for violating the NBA's anti-drug program. The Knicks center was positive for an over-the-counter bonus that is banned. The substance is known as LGD-4033 (a selective androgen receptor modulator) which is a supplement to increase muscle mass and decrease body fat with benefits similar to testosterone. The player who was in the middle of recovery from the knee injury, missed the last ten games of last season and the top 10 of the season to come (2017-2018).
The investigation determines that the Frenchman has not violated the policy consciously or voluntarily and that he is cooperating with the NBA.After the sanction the French player declared for the press:
"I wanted to start by saying it was a mistake.It was a difficult year for me and the team but it was a mistake, I apologize to everyone and I will learn from them. I had many injuries and tried to take something that would help me, but I went wrong".
